The Crus Bourgeois aren’t new, but there is revitalized energy around this classic Bordeaux category.

The original classification arose out of the historical environment in Bordeaux. As of February 2020, all Cru Bourgeois estates have undergone a review of multiple criteria by an independent body. This includes blind tasting and environmental considerations at the foundation. Cru Bourgeois now presents a modern, evolving category that offers consumers confidence.
